Treatments

Pet Odor & Stain Removal in Montgomery, NY

Targeted treatments that neutralize odor at the source instead of masking it with fragrance.

How we do it

  1. Find every spot

A UV light reveals what your eyes miss — the visible mark is usually smaller than the actual contamination underneath.

  2. Map the depth

Urine spreads outward and downward. We determine whether it's in the fibre, the pad, or the subfloor, because each needs a different treatment.

  3. Enzyme application

The enzyme is applied to reach the contamination, then given dwell time to digest the urine salts rather than just wet them.

  4. Extract & rinse

Broken-down residue is flushed and extracted, taking the odour source with it.

  5. Honest verdict

If contamination has reached the subfloor beyond what treatment can fix, we tell you — including when replacement is the cheaper real answer.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the pet smell come back when it rains?

Because urine salts are hygroscopic — they draw moisture from humid air and reactivate the odour. Any treatment that only masked the smell will fail on the first humid day. Neutralising the salts is the only durable fix.

Can you get pet urine out completely?

It depends entirely on depth. Fresh surface accidents usually clear fully. Once it has soaked the pad or reached the subfloor, treatment improves it substantially but complete removal may require replacing the pad or sealing the subfloor. We give you the honest assessment first.

Do you use fragrance to cover odour?

No. Fragrance hides the problem for a few days and the smell returns. We treat the source.
