Tile & Grout
Tile & Grout Cleaning in Montgomery, NY
High-pressure extraction lifts years of build-up from grout pores, then we seal to protect.
How we do it
Assessment
We check grout condition first. Cleaning won't fix failed grout, and we'll tell you if repair should come before cleaning.
Alkaline dwell
A grout-safe cleaner sits long enough to break down the greasy film that mop water leaves behind.
Pressure flush
A sealed spinner tool hits the surface with heated solution at pressure and recovers the slurry instantly — no dirty water spreading across your floor.
Detail work
Corners, edges, and shower thresholds get hand-detailed where the machine can't reach.
Seal
A penetrating sealer fills the pores so future spills sit on top instead of soaking in.

Answers
Frequently asked questions
Why does my grout look dirty right after I mop?
Because mopping mostly redistributes dirty water into the grout's pores — grout sits lower than the tile and is porous, so it collects what the mop pushes around. Pressurised extraction removes it instead of moving it.
Will cleaning make my grout look new again?
Usually much closer than people expect, but grout that is permanently stained or has eroded won't return to original colour by cleaning alone. Colour-sealing is the option there, and we'll say so honestly upfront.
How often should tile and grout be sealed?
Roughly every 1 to 2 years in a kitchen or entryway, longer in a low-traffic bathroom. Water beading on the grout rather than soaking in means the sealer is still working.
